Our restaurant was the very first and original Chinese restaurant in Oban; indeed it was the first oriental restaurant in the entire West Coast of Scotland. China Restaurant has been established in its current location since 1970 and can claim to be one of the longest running establishments in Oban itself. We are perfectly located at the centre of Oban, right next to Oban Distillery, which produces the world famous Oban Whiskies. Our restaurant has a reputation for serving the best of the Orient, mixed with the best seafood ingredients from west Scotland’s coastal waters, where Oban is widely considered as "The Seafood Capital of Scotland". In addition to providing our customers with a taste of the East, we also serve many traditional western dishes.
